(MOBILE, Ala.) 4/12 -- Senator Jeff Sessions was in Mobile today, bringing attention to an effort to revitalize a local neighborhood. Sessions appeared with officials from Habitat For Humanity and the organization Dependable, Affordable, Sustainable Housing to tour some of the restored homes in the Hillsdale community. The Senator says the effort will pay for those looking to buy a home, "One of the most important things a family can do in america is decide about their home, whether or not they can afford one and what kind. DASH and Habitat For Humanity are just doing a fabulous job in Hillsdale. This whole neighborhood is in the process of being revitalized at a reasonable cost for both the homeowners and for taxpayers who help out a little bit."Officials say only about twenty percent of those who live in Hillsdale actually own their homes.
